As the Grand Chute Town Board liasion to the Grand Chute Parks Commision, I am pleased to report a first year ice rink is open and is being enjoyed by residents at Arrowhead Park. The Department Works staff rigged up a water tank on the back end of our three-wheeled ballfield groomer, turning the machine into a miniature Zamboni!
Ice rinks may be developed at other Grand Chute parks locations, depending on this one's popularity.
Updates from Grand Chute, Wisconsin, Town Supervisor Travis Thyssen. Grand Chute is Wisconsin's largest town, with a population of over 20,000, and is home to the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers minor league baseball team.
